GEMBA: the place where value is created.  In the working place and in each process, lies wastes that you could transform to value. GEMBA is detecting this waste through having an actual walk in the field. This course will expose the participants to the 8 wastes and tools used during the GEMBA walk.

Hoshin Kanri can be visualized as a game of Tug Of War which pits two teams on either sides of a long rope, wherein the two teams try to pull in opposite directions. The team that pulls the rope further away from the center line marked on the rope wins the war.
