    Principal Duties Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular Database Administration Tasks in SQL Server
  • Troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, security issues etc.
  • Analyze Performance metrics and provide recommendations in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Detect and troubleshoot SQL Server related CPU, memory, I/O, disk space and other resource contention.
  • Manage database replication, backups, restoration, database shrink operations, Clustering, Database mirroring.
  • Support disaster recovery solutions in congruence with service-level agreement recovery point objectives; perform periodic failover testing of disaster recovery solutions
  • Develop and maintain documentation relevant to managing and supporting databases aligned with Quality and Information Management System requirements
  • Work collaboratively and professionally with other Advarra teams to achieve customer goals Perform other job-related duties as assigned

    Position Responsibilities::-

  • - Application Database Administrator responsible for activities associated with delivery of customer-defined systems and software projects.
  • - Designs, creates, and maintains Oracle/Postgre SQL databases in on premise and Cloud environment.
  • - Migrates existing on prem Oracle Database(includes replication) to Azure Postgre SQL database: migrating data structures, migrating data, converting common SQL statements, converting PL/SQL to PL/Java, setting up replication, storage management.
