The result of numerous acquisitions over the successful years of business. The business had a variety of customer needs to satisfy. That also included supplying some products to other businesses under the same corporation. Products had a wide reach around the world and were sold to the customers by independent entities or by owned subsidiaries.

The complexity and enormity of the company’s operations brought in constant flux in its organizational structure and evolution of the products in the dynamic market environment. The personnel, the process and the systems were in constant anticipation of change.

The orders of product in a given country were split into specific component orders and forwarded to other countries for fulfilment. Customers inconsistently received many shipments over long delays.
