Change Starts from you

Once a king told some of his workers to dig a pond, The King made an announcement to this people saying that one person from each household had to bring a glass of milk, during the night and pour it into the pond so the pond would be full of milk by the morning.

During the night a man prepared to take the milk. He thought that since everyone would bring milk, he would just take a glass of water and pour it in the pond. It would be dark and no one would notice. So he quickly went and poured the water into the pond. In the morning, the king came to visit the pond which was only filled with water. What had happened was that everyone thought like the other man, “I don’t have to pour milk as someone else will do it”.

So the king explained that, “This is what happens when it comes to helping others or initiating something. Do not think that others will take care of it. Rather, you take the initiative. If you don’t do it, no one else will do it.

Learning: Change yourself to take initiative and that will make the difference
